Last Moments of Eastleigh Mother, Daughter, and Niece Revealed Before Their Mysterious Murders

 On October 22, 2024, a tragic incident took place in Eastleigh, Nairobi, in which a mother and her two daughters were found dead under mysterious circumstances, that sparked an investigation by the Kenyan authorities.

The mother, named Waris Daud, left the house the previous evening to attend to a medical issue and had not returned. Alarmed with their mother’s condition, her daughters, Amina Abdirashid, 21, and Nuseiba Dahir, 12, left their house very late that night in order to find her'

 The CCTV footage tracked the daughters as they left their house around midnight and, later on, getting into a cab. Unfortunately, it was the very last time they were seen alive.

The bodies of the daughters were discovered in separate locations within Nairobi, Amina in Parklands and Nuseiba in Bahati. Their mother’s body was later discovered in a thicket in Machakos County, with all three exhibiting signs of similar injuries. This led investigations to suspect the same individual or group was responsible for all three deaths.


This shocking event has sent a wave of determination and quest for justice across the family and the community. As investigators from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations press on in a bid to unravel all circumstances surrounding the deaths, till now, no arrests have been made. The family has appealed publicly for government intervention to ensure that those responsible are brought to book.
